Camping

Camping is available at the Great Western Recreation Reserve throughout the year. Camping is free with coin operated shower facilities available. 
 
The recreation Reserve at Great Western can cater for large groups and has a good size kitchen. The cost to hire the facilities available at the recreation reserve is $200 for the first day (includes utilities such as water, gas, electricity), then only $100 for any consecutive days. We are also able to hire out tables for $10 each and chairs for $2 each. Access to a rubbish skip is available for a small fee.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome at the reserve and during the Pleasure Ride but must be on a lead at all times for safety reasons. As the reserve is surrounded by farmland, extreme care must be taken to ensure all dogs are secured at all times please. 

Horses

There is a horse wash bay and sand roll for all entrants to use. Water is also available throughout the Recreation Reserve. Riders must ensure that the area where their horses have been staying over the weekend is kept clean and tidy. We also ask that you put all horse waste into the bags provided before you leave to help with the clean-up after the ride.
